Fear

Why should I fear what I should not I fear things That I know zilch about Our fears are hidden deep within Where we know they’ve always been Whether it be bugs or snakes Or neath the bed for goodness sake’s The one that scares me most of all Is the closet down the hall We fear darkness more than light We fear the things that are not in sight Graveyards are something that we fear We try to keep them far not near Some people they have fears of heights Or walking down sidewalks at night Waking up from scary dreams We all fear so many things We don’t know why we have such fears And why it raises our neck hairs All we know is fear is there Fear is with us everywhere
