As I get older I grow weaker each day
My back always hurts no relief comes my way
My knees hurt and shake when I sit in my chair
And my right arm lets just say of pain has its share
I go to the Doctors and there's one for each pain
They want to help so I can get rid of this Kane
I've been using it now for over a year
And I'll have to use it a while longer I fear
And the medicine well let's just say it's a lot
And the insurance won't pay very much it will not
It takes two bottles of water to get it all down
And it keeps me so tired that I can't walk around town
So I work in my shop and watch the TV
Do little things that are easy for me
A man who for years worked so very hard
Is now broken down and done and retired
