Before the Pendemic, we would Gather...
On the Auspicious day we Reunite with Family and Friends.
A Feast is set on the Dining table;
We sample many unique Dishes and Desserts.
We talk and Laugh with one another.
When Feasting is done;
Children play and eagerly wait for Gifts and Money.
Now the Festivities of Eid-Ul—Fitr continues until the wee hours of the Night.
However, not this year...
Family and Friends will interact online;
Talking by messageing, calling, and video chat.
Platter of Food will be left on the Doorstep.
Gifts and cash are given by delivery.
Children will play but only on the web.
