A Tree’s Life

Who am I ? A standing tree, Not like a human Who is free I stand still, In soil or a hill, I never complain, I always bear pain. Whenever you want you cut me down, I am not a king, who has the crown. My only wish is to be strong, So I can prove that you are wrong. You take wood, pencil and paper. If you are not near me, So I feel safer. Who I am ? A standing tree. Not like a human, Who is free. You sit in my shade, And feel good I stand in the Sun, Quite and stood. I grew up, from a seed. Like when you are small, You get feed. I have many names but, But we grew from a seed. Some by stems, Some by leaves. Some People believe that, I am aGod. They worship me, It’s hard to believe some, humans who are fraud. I am like a, Strong Iron Rod. We stand quite, In heavy rains. In the storms, Our branches got broke. You will feel like , It is a joke. You will laugh, I will cry. I give shelter, To many animals. Most of them, Are arboreal. Who am I ? A standing tree Not like a human, Who is free. Thank You - Vinayak Gupta
