Shards of the Sun

To speak of stars and endless falling I’m yet to understand the shadows calling And if all is lost by the morrow... Piece by piece lies the Glass of Sorrow Stone walls and iron gates, Years building everything it takes But old decisions are overdue You change as time does; as Earth does too If the sun is to fall... then let it Watch it turn the sky golden and free Pieces from the Glass of Dreams Golden shards of sweet memories Down go the walls and iron gates Shadows turn to angels, Poison turns to water Solitude no more- Only freedom and the warmth of the falling sun At last! Now standing in yesterday’s morrow We hold nothing lost, except the shards of Sorrow Now replaced by the glistening shards of Dreams They crash down upon us, filling our souls with molten sunshine beams Beams traveling to the very corners of my soul Leaving no space dark and empty Free at last, I swear it’s Heaven’s pull I will live in the sunshine for endless centuries All of this because of one person One soul that chased away the Glass of Sorrow My only one, my other half The one I long to see in today’s morrow And once I am finally free With you I will be Gold and sweet, my biggest dream And roses in our souls like at the end of spring Love, you will always be my everything
