the smile☺︎︎

Fair skin, happy and just. Fair skin everywhere, surrounding her. Skin on the face around her lips, helping the corners of her mouth to lift. But what if he deserved it more? That stinging feeling in your cheeks, the sound of laughter to fill your ears. For why did she even want to smile? And did she even have a reason? She was flooded with her own hurtful mind, Her skin trapped her, and her eyes were selfish. A bright blue pair of painful eyes. But nobody saw her trouble. So, maybe her skin wasn’t fair at all, It was unfair. For it made her worry, and wish it were never there at all. -Spencer Moroney
