Gone away
Lost in the dark
An old toy tossed in a chest
Memories forgotten in an attic
A ship sunk at sea.
Searched for only a moment
Then fading away
Never to be seen again.
These like my soul have fallen
So far down the rabbit hole
Collecting dust and drifting away.
