Swirling round and round
Looking for a bright spot
Only darkness can be found
It started bright and cheery
Turning this way and that
But underneath the joy
Pain and sadness sat
You state the ways I’ve wronged you
You admit that I have changed
But you hold on to the memories
And again you walked away
I wish that things were different
That your happiness would last
