IN THE GARDENS
Ivy crept over
To the area where Rose lived
And whispered to her
Ash loved her perfume
Rose was tickled to hear that
She worked hard to bloom
Wisteria smiled
and told Ash, Rose loved his shade
after day retired
The Bellflower thinks
Of herself as classy and
Cosmopolitan
She said not so for
The bindweed with purple blooms
Who said, “I could choke…!”
Olives tree was calm
Olive branch symbol of peace
stretched out in friendship
Chrysanthemums job
Is very serious for
Humans that have passed
Hidden in the back
the mysterious Mary Jane
Says, “Let’s all chill out”
Oleander says,
“psst”, “Come on over here pleeeez “
DONT! She is poison!
The sweet sweet Tulip!
No longer worth more than gold
for all to enjoy
