Jokes

I always thought jokes were funny, or, at least when I was younger. When I was small, dad jokes and pun were hilarious. There was always an ending you’d never suspect. Jokes also always used the imagination, for example I’ve never seen a chicken cross the road, or tried to put a baby astronaut to sleep. But it was these funny moments that brightened my day. I always thought jokes were supposed to be funny. Instead of the usual, people came up with new jokes, such as; “I’m going to kill myself.” “I’m going to hurt him.” “I wish they were never born.” These weren’t funny at all, so why do people make them. I suppose they do need your imagination, but it’s pretty awful to imagine someone committing suicide. And I guess there is an ending you wouldn’t expect, a child in a casket.
