She stood in an empty room with faded wallpaper , where you could still make out the outlines of frames that once hang upon the walls . The silence was so loud that it made her heart ache with sadness. She looked down at the only item left in the empty room which was an old faded chair with thread worn fabric which once held a flower pattern . She ran her shaky hand over the fabric tears running down her face . Just out of the corner of her eye she saw a wisp of smoke curling up from the chair and she smelt the familiar smell of cherry pipe smoke . A figure formed in front of her one she had seen and known all her life , “Dad “she whispered into the silence of the room . The figure didn’t speak but slowly nodded his head and smiled . “Oh Dad “she cried , “I’m all lone now “ He only smiled and waved his hand and tipped his head like he did when she was small and she knew then and she knew now that all was going to be alright. Slowly his form faded all that was left in the air was that small wisp of pipe smoke . She slowly walked out of the empty room into the rest of the empty house which echoed back to her all her happy childhood memories. She walked out and locked the door .
