I see a glimpse of you when Easter comes around
I didn’t like peeps but I ate them every time just to look up at your smile
I took your love for granted expecting you to always stay
Expecting your love to last for everlasting days
When time started ticking I remember looking for your smile there wasn’t any there so I brought back Easter for a while we mentioned how our garage door was painted a dark brown and how it looks like a candy bar now you finally laughed and smiled then whispered to us love yourself and take care of each other
I wish Easter lasted longer
