If you were gone tomorrow would I grieve?
Would it be enough to send condolences or shall I play a song without reprieve to put on a show and never leave.
For how can one grieve what was already lost, a mother who could love was too much of a cost for someone so cold as her.
I had already grieved long ago, for the mother that could’ve, should’ve, but never was.
